The Punjab government has announced the application date for the second phase of the Green Tractor Scheme. The scheme has been launched to help farmers get modern and environmentally friendly tractors. Under the Green Tractor Scheme, farmers can buy modern tractors at a subsidized price that are fuel-efficient and low-pollution. Eligibility Criteria
The following conditions will apply to benefit from this scheme:
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Punjab.
- Must own 1 to 50 acres of agricultural land.
- The applicant must not have defaulted with any bank or financial institution.
- Must have an identity card and authentic documents of land ownership.
How to Apply
- To apply, farmers will fill out an online registration form, which will be available on the website of the Agriculture Department soon.
- After the process is complete, successful applicants will be selected through a draw.
Registration date
The Punjab government has started receiving applications for the second phase of the Green Tractor Scheme from 8 am on July 1, 2025. Under this scheme, 20,000 subsidized tractors will be provided, out of which 1,000 tractors will be provided free of cost to wheat farmers holding 25 to 50 acres of land respectively.
NADRA services are also available in the Union Council of Qadirabad, Mandi Bahauddin.
