Solarization 7670 CM Agricultural Tube Wells: On July 11, 2025, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif chaired a special meeting for the prosperity of the agriculture sector. The meeting reviewed the Punjab government’s agricultural reform agenda, which included the practical implementation of the ongoing package for the assistance and convenience of farmers.
2. CM Model Agriculture Mall Phase‑II
- Phase II includes 10 districts:
aisalabad, Jhang, Okara, Khanewal, Rajanpur, Vehari, Rahim Yar Khan, Sheikhupura, Attock, and Mianwali.
- Active in 4 additional districts:
Multan, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, and Sahiwal are also planned to be operational from August/July 2025

One-stop arrangement of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, consultancy, agency services, loans, and other agricultural needs.
3. Tube-Well Solarization
- Start Date:
Details of the pipe expansion project were revealed in the meeting on July 11; solarization has started, 7,670 tube-wells have been solarized, while 652 have been completed.
- Subsidy Rate:
Up to a 95 percent subsidy on solarization was announced on May 16, 2025

4. Green Tractor Programme
- Announced in the meeting:
20,000 green tractors will be provided on a subsidy next year.
- Other statistics:
By January 2025, about 4,000 tractors had been distributed, and 9,500 farmers had been nominated through a lottery.

5. Wet Road Programme
- Release of 63 tractors:

Rs 100 billion loan sanctioned through 628,000 Kisan Cards
- Agri Internship Programme:
1,000 graduates provided training services to two million farmers, with the start of training of 2,000 more interns from August announced on July 11
- Mini-Dams & Water Reservoirs:
500 small dams and 250 water reservoir projects under consideration in Pothohar
