Moreover, the process of scrutinizing, verifying, and providing facilities to the eligible persons received in the first phase of the scheme is underway. Only after the completion of this phase, the next phase be started.

Government’s stance
A statement issued by the Punjab government said:
“The process of receiving applications is being closed for the time being so that the applications already received can be processed effectively.”
The statement further said that the scheme has become a good example of public popularity, and the government intends to reopen the project with further improvements in the future.
