PM Youth Laptop Scheme Phase -IV: The Prime Minister Laptop Scheme is an important digital initiative launched by the Government of Pakistan for educational development, which aims to provide free laptops to intelligent, hardworking, and deserving students across the country so that they can master education, research, online learning, and technology. It was launched in 2013 and has now been revived in 2024 under Phase 3.

The eligibility criteria for the PM Youth Laptop Scheme program are as follows:
- Being a Pakistani citizen
- Being a regular student in an HEC-recognized institution
- Being on merit, Academic performance
Ineligible students for the PM Youth Laptop Scheme
Under the Prime Minister Youth Laptop Scheme, only those students are considered eligible for laptops who meet the required conditions. If they do not meet these required conditions, they will not be eligible for the laptop scheme. This means that the conditions are being listed.
- Students who are not of Pakistani repute
- are not studying,
- have completed their degrees,
- are foreign students, have foreign citizenship, and
- have provided false or incorrect information.

Registration process for the PM Youth Laptop Scheme
Students register online, and then laptops are provided to eligible students according to the merit list. These laptops have advanced features as per the educational and research requirements.
The registration process consists of the following steps:
- Go to the online portal
- Create an account
- Click on New Registration
- Enter your CNIC number, a Valid email, a Mobile number, and other information
- Enter educational details
- Submit the application
- Check the status
- After applying, go to the application status to check if the application has been approved
- Provide correct and complete information
- Submit the form before the last date of registration
- Only one application can be submitted
- Keep in touch with the university focal person
Merit List and Laptop Distribution
According to the university spokesperson, the last date for filing objections to the merit list is July 4, 2025. Students who believe that their name has been omitted from the merit list by mistake should immediately contact their respective focal person with supporting documents. The university administration is requesting them to prioritize their status as soon as possible so that their inclusion in it can be ensured and any issue can be resolved on time.
