Persons with disabilities should have some necessary documents for Hammat card registration. In case of the absence of documents, persons with disabilities will be deprived of the benefits of a Himmat card. While going for registration, they should have a valid National Identity Card, a Mobile Number, and the National Identity Card of the Head of Household. And must have disability certificate.
After submitting all the documents to the Union Council, they will ask some important questions. You will be registered after giving the correct answers. Quarterly assistance of around 10,500 will be provided to disabled people through the Himat card. He said that transparency will be maintained in the payment of the nation through the Himat card. Ms. Maryam Nawaz said that educated disabled people who are not affected by disability and have the ability to earn a living will also be given jobs.
She said that those disabled people who can do their own business will be provided with easy loans. 100% interest on their loans will be paid by the Punjab government. These loans will be provided to the poor in easy installments. By which they will be able to earn a living by doing better business, they will be able to support themselves and their families better.

Helpline Number For Himmat Card
A helpline number has been provided for registration of the Himmat card through a call. Persons with disabilities can easily register at home by contacting this helpline number. Registration can be done through the helpline in the offices of the Social Welfare Department during office hours.
This helpline number is available only during office hours. Through the call, disabled people can register comfortably while maintaining transparency.

Safe Passageways In Hospitals
Ms. Maryam Nawaz said that safe ways are being constructed in hospitals for disabled people. Before that, disabled people were facing many problems in going to the hospital for treatment or any other purpose. They needed the support of others to move them from one place to another. Now such safe ways are being made for them in the hospital. On which they will not need anyone’s help to walk, they will be able to transport on their own.
Wheelchairs will also be provided to disabled persons who are eligible through the Himat Card. Ms. Maryam Nawaz said that the registered disabled persons will be assessed for their eligibility, as a result of which wheelchairs and other aids will be provided to them. Disabled persons who are paralyzed from all sides and cannot work will be provided with support equipment as needed. This includes wheelchairs, crutches, medicines, etc.
