BISP is providing financial assistance of Rs. 13,500 to poor and deserving families from June 2025. Women can get this amount from their nearest BISP offices or tailor shops from June 26, 2025, to meet their needs. Additionally, financial assistance for educational scholarships is also available.
Method of Receiving Payment
This financial assistance will be distributed through designated BISP retail shops or banking agents. Eligible individuals must carry their National Identity Card, and the money can be received after undergoing biometric verification. If any problem occurs in biometric verification, the procedure to resolve it is also given below.
Methods of Payment Verification and Eligibility Check
1. Verification through Web Portal
BISP has provided this facility on the 8171 web portal so that beneficiaries can get their eligibility and payment information online. To do this, follow these steps:
- Open the internet on your mobile or computer.
- Go to the 8171 web portal: https://bisp.gov.pk
- Enter your 13-digit National Identity Card number.
- Fill in the security captcha.
- Click on the “Find Out” button.
After waiting for a few moments, you will be told whether you are eligible for the program or not, and if eligible, what is the payment date and details.

2. Verification through SMS
If you do not have internet access, you can also check your eligibility through SMS:
- Go to your mobile’s message box.
- Type the National Identity Card number without spaces.
- Send this message to 8171
- You will receive a response from BISP within 24 hours to 7 days, whether you are eligible or not

3. Contact the Tehsil Office
If you are unable to verify online or via SMS, then visit the nearest BISP Tehsil Office. The staff will check your ID card and provide complete guidance on your eligibility, payment status, and next steps.
Problem with Biometric Verification? Here is the solution
Most women or elderly people face difficulty in biometric verification. To solve this problem, follow the following steps:
- Visit your nearest NADRA office.
- Carry your National Identity Card with you.
- Get your NADRA token easily and relax in the waiting area until your turn.
- Go to the NADRA office and have them re-update your fingerprints.
- After updating, visit the BISP Retailer Center and get payment again through biometric verification.
What are the Eligibility Conditions?
If you want to know whether you are eligible for this program or not, keep these conditions in mind:
- Your PMT score should be less than 32.
- Your National Identity Card should be verified and issued by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
- You should be pre-registered in the BISP program.
- You should have received an eligibility SMS from 8171.
- If all these conditions are met, you are entitled to an assistance of Rs. 13,500
