BISP 8171 Payment Through Mobile Account: Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has set up tehsil-level offices in all districts of the country to facilitate registration, information verification, complaint registration, and other facilities to the eligible persons. Along with this, the government has also started the process of transferring money through mobile accounts, making the payment method more convenient.

The purpose of starting the process of making payments from a mobile account is as follows:

  •  Data Validation and Update System

It is possible to update CNIC, mobile number, and household information by visiting the offices, which improves the payment system.

 List of District-wise BISP Tehsil Offices

  •  Punjab:

BISP tehsil offices are functional in all 36 districts of Punjab, such as Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Gujranwala, and Bahawalpur.

  • Sindh:

Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Mirpur Khas, Nawab Shah, and other districts have been fully covered.

  •  Khyber Pakhtunkhwa:

Offices are functional in districts such as Peshawar, Mardan, Abbottabad, Dera Ismail Khan, Kohat, and Swat.

  •  Balochistan:

There are tehsil offices in other districts, including Quetta, Khuzdar, Sibi, Turbat, and  Zhob.

  • Gilgit-Baltistan:

Offices are established for Gilgit, Skardu, Diamer, Hunza, and other areas.

  • Azad Kashmir:

BISP offices are also available in Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Bagh, Kotli, and Rawalakot.

 How to get BISP payment from a mobile account

Step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Check eligibility

SMS your CNIC number to 8171 without a dash or check by visiting the website 8171.bisp.gov.pk.

Step 2: Create a mobile wallet account

If you don’t have a JazzCash, EasyPaisa, or HBL Konnect account:

Visit a nearby mobile agent and get biometric verification

Register the account with your CNIC number

Step 3: Receive money notification

When the money is credited to your account, you will receive an SMS from 8171. You will also receive an SMS from JazzCash or EasyPaisa.

Step 4: Get Money

Withdraw cash from a JazzCash or EasyPaisa agent

Or withdraw from the ATM through the HBL Konnect account

Pay bills or buy items from the account

Precautions from fraud 

Do not pay commission or fee to any agent

SMS is valid only from 8171

Do not share your information with any unrelated person
