BISP 8171 Payment Collection from Retailer: The payment process for the August 2025 installment under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has started in phases from August 5, 2025. This amount is being delivered to the eligible families across the country in three phases.
The payment has already started in several districts, while in other districts, this phase is expected to be completed by August 20.
BISP 8171 How much is being given?
The government has released financial assistance of Rs 13,500 to the eligible women this time.
If a woman has not been able to get the previous installment, then she is likely to get a double payment by adding the previous amount, that is, about Rs 27,000.

BISP 8171 How to get the money from a retail shop?
To get the payment from your nearest BISP-registered shop or agent, follow the following steps:
- First, send an SMS with your CNIC number to 8171 so that you can confirm the payment.
- If you are eligible, you will receive payment approval and collection instructions in the message.
- Then you should visit the nearest BISP center, or an authorized agent like JazzCash, EasyPaisa, or HBL Connect.
- Carry your original ID card with you.
- After biometric verification (thumbprint), you will be given the full amount.

BISP 8171 How to check eligibility?
Via SMS:
- Write your ID card number in your mobile and send it to 8171.
- You will know in a short time whether you are eligible for this installment or not.
Via online portal:
- Visit the 8171 website (https://8171.bisp.gov.pk).
- Enter the ID card number.
- Press the “Find Out” button, and your eligibility, payment amount, and other details will be revealed immediately.
Contact the nearest BISP office:
If you do not use SMS or the internet, you can directly approach a BISP center or district office.
BISP 8171 Who is eligible?
BISP financial assistance is provided only to women who meet the following criteria:
- The monthly income of the family is low (approximately Rs. 30,000 or less)
- There is no government employee in the family
- Widow, mother of orphaned children, disabled person, or destitute woman
- Complete bank account and identity documents
- The PMT score of the household is as per the government standard

Several new districts have been added to the BISP payment system in this phase of 2025. If you were not eligible earlier, you can now re-register through the dynamic survey.
