Allama Iqbal Open University Launches Adult Education Center to Combat Illiteracy. Open University Professor Dr. Nasir Mahmood has established an adult education center on the campus to reduce the illiteracy rate. Those people who have not studied in schools will be given an education, and they will also be given basic education and training so that they can be able to live a successful life.

The purpose of establishing this center is that those who are uneducated will be given such education that will have a direct relationship with their lives. In the initial phase, the low-grade employees of the university are included, who will be provided training to improve their lives.

While inaugurating the Adult Education Center, Pakistan’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Tariq Cheema, said that we are opening the Adult Education Center for those people who are uneducated, including factory workers, rural farmers, and other adults.
