AIOU Launches 2-Year ADP in 17 New Fields; Allama Iqbal Open University has launched two-year associate degree programs in 17 new fields to expand democratic educational opportunities, which will be available for the 2025 semester from July 1.
- The main objective of these programs is to provide quality education to students and align them with their professional development.
- Social science subjects will be provided through open and distance learning so that students from rural and backward areas can also benefit.
- Science subjects will be taught live and through laboratories so that the quality of practical training can be ensured

It is necessary to meet the following requirements to be admitted to a degree program;
- Social Science
FA or equivalent in the Sciences is required
- Science subjects
F.Sc or equivalent educational qualification is required for admission

Allama Iqbal Open University has launched 2-year degree programs in 17 new departments, including Business Administration, Economics, Math, Communication, Sociology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and others. Social sciences will be taught through open and distributed learning, while science subjects will be provided through live classes and laboratories. FA and F.Sc students can get admission in these programs. Successful students will also be given direct admission in the fifth semester of BS. Admissions are open from July 1.
