8171 BISP NSER Registration. NSER (National Socio-Economic Register) is a modern database under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) in collaboration with NADRA. It conducts socio-economic assessment of households across Pakistan so that a monthly assistance of ₨13,500 can be provided to the needy families.
Who should re-register in BISP NSER?
Re-survey or update in 2025 is required for those who:
- Have not updated their data for 3 years
- Were previously registered under BSP but are suffering from previous deprivation
- There has been a change in income or household structure
- New eligible cases (widows, orphans, disabled persons) have been added
Last Date:
Registration must be completed by June 30, 2025; otherwise, financial assistance will be stopped
Registration Methods
1. BSP Office (BRC) at Tehsil Level
- Go to the nearest Tehsil Office where the BISP Registration Desks are installed
- First, check eligibility online or through SMS (8171)
- Submit CNIC, B-Form (for children), FRC, utility bill, etc., on your turn
- Get data entry done after biometric verification

2. 8171 Portal and SMS
- SMS your CNIC number without a dash to 8171 or use the web portal
- You will receive registration or data update instructions and a confirmation message via SMS
Required Documents
- Valid and current CNIC
- Registered mobile number (linked to CNIC)
- FRC (Family Registration Certificate)
- B-Form for children
- Income proof (payslip/bank statement or affidavit)
- Disability/widowhood, etc. certificates (if applicable)
Fraud Prevention Instructions
- Registration is free; Do not give money to anyone
- Use only official channels (8171, BSP office, web portal)
- Prevent misuse of mobile number and OTP
- Report fake messages and calls immediately
- Fraudsters can be imprisoned for 3 to 10 years

What to do after registration?
- Check application status via SMS from 8171 or on the web portal
- Upon approval, you will be paid ₨13,500 quarterly:
- Bank account, JazzCash/EasyPaisa, or BISP Cash Center
- Fingerprint verification is required
- Keep the receipt or SMS

- Mobile SIM must be linked to CNIC
- Complete the registration in one go to avoid repeated visits
